The Central Library of Jai Prakash University is the "Knowledge Hub" of the university, serves as the main academic resource center for its 21+ Constituent College, 25+ affiliated colleges and 17+ postgraduate departments. Named after Loknayak Jai Prakash Narayan, the library embodies his vision of enlightened education for social change. It supports teaching, research, and learning across diverse fields like humanities, social sciences, commerce, and sciences. The Central Library is a well-equipped, modern academic facility that plays a foundational role in fostering education and research in the heart of Bihar. It continues to evolve as part of the university's broader development efforts to provide quality higher education resources to thousands of students. About One Nation One Subscription (ONOS):

It is an initiative by the Government of India to provide nationwide access to academic research and scientific journals through a single government-funded subscription.

Key Highlights:

Nationwide Access: Provides free access to 13,000+ international journals and research papers from 30 major international publishers.
Government-Funded Initiative: The Indian government initiative for ONOS (2025-2027) has been taken to support academic and research institutions in eliminating the need for individual institutions to pay high journal subscription fees, making research more affordable and accessible.
Beneficiaries: Students, researchers, and faculty members across all Higher Education Institutions managed by the central government and state governments and Research & Development Institutions of the central government will benefit.

How to access:
ONOS access is available on the Remote Access Portal (INFED). The service is available at the portal: https://www.idp.jpv.ac.in/
